David Ashwell

Managing Director, AO Logistics

David began his career in food retail as a trainee manager for Sainsbury’s, spending 12 years in a variety of store and area management as well as merchandising and store planning. He then joined Iceland to run its appliance business and after nine years joined Expert Logistics as Managing Director. In 2006, Expert joined the AO family which David has been part of ever since. As Managing Director of AO Logistics MD, David is responsible for AO’s five star rated nationwide delivery network, headquartered in Crewe, which includes qualified gas and electrical engineers who can install appliances for customers on delivery. AO Logistics also offers its successful two-person delivery network to selected third party retailers, an area of the business that’s grown rapidly over the last 18 months.
